Today is January 1, 2013.
We survived the end of the world! Take that Mayans!
I'm a pretty private person, and by private I mean all my accounts in social networking sites are locked and set to private mode. So as all cliches go, on this 1st day of January 2013, I am starting my blog. This is my effort to become more open, more social and connected with the rest of the world.
In a way, this will also help me get back on the writing wagon. (God knows my English writing skills have become pretty rusty! This blog will also allow me to take more photos. I haven't been taking photos for some time and I really want to get back to it.
Lastly, I just enrolled in a online course with focus on Digital Culture. Kinda ironic if I don't have this blog to chronicle my learnings. *wink*
Oh and if by any chance you're wondering why Outlaw by Default. I'd like to consider myself a person that challenges status quo, that thinks outside the box and is not afraid to break conventions.
